Next Generation Mercedes-Benz Test Mule Spotted

Spy shots of the test mule of the next-generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter emerged recently, as shown on a report from motor1.com. The new Sprinter is not expected to be officially unveiled before 2018, which means it is currently in the early stages of its development. One thing that stood out was the heavy camouflaged on the nose of the luxury commercial van. However, it does take some inspiration from the Metris/Vito through the way the headlights are connected to the grille. Daimler announced a new innovation in its smart cars. The company revealed that will be testing a new logistics service for its smart cars. While shopping online is very easy nowadays, the tricky part of it is mostly in the delivery process. Usually the problem occurs when the buyer is not in his designated address during the time of the delivery. Smart labs aims to solve this issue by allowing their cars to be specified by owners as their delivery address. Mansory Tunes the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 Squared

Early this month, we have witnessed the work of Brabus with the Mercedes-Benz G500 Squared or the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×42. Not to be outdone, German tuning firm Mansory also did the same to the vehicle. Mansory chose the sky blue version of the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×42 to highlight its new G-Class package. The upgrade provided a boost in the iconic SUV’s engine plus some cosmetic changes in both its exterior and interior. Mansory retained the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine of the G500 4×42. However, the tuner increased the output of the G-Class by 62 hp. So from the standard 416 hp produced by the SUV, the specialist cranked up the numbers to a total of 478 hp. Smart Fortwo Coupe Available in Soft Top Starting September

Starting September this year, the smart fortwo coupe will be offered with a solid roof frame with black fabric covering as a standard fit. The special roofing will be made available with the 2016 models of the compact coupe, according to Daimler. For the Brabus and Brabus Xclusive lineups of the car, the special roof comes as a no-cost option if the buyer chooses it over the standard panoramic roof with sun protection. Nico Rosberg Gets Two-Year Contract Extension with Mercedes F1 Team

Daimler announced that Nico Rosberg finally got his contract extension under its Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team. The company revealed that Mercedes and the German driver closed a two-extension in the latter’s contract. The 1961 Mercedes-Benz 300d limousine is definitely a head-turner. It has that classic and elegant appeal that makes you wish you had one or at least get to ride one, if you are a true car enthusiast. When the car came out in 1961, it retailed around $11,000. During that time, it was worth more than a Rolls-Royce. The Mercedes-Benz 300d limo pictured above was bought at that price by an unnamed U.S. Army captain stationed in Germany 55 years ago.
