Lewis Hamilton Takes The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG Out For A Spin

Mercedes-Benz recently requested Lewis Hamilton to test drive the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG. A video of the test drive of the Mercedes-AMG Formula One team driver was released recently by the luxury vehicle manufacturer. The video shows Hamilton testing the turbocharged engine of the A45 AMG on both dry and wet road conditions. After taking the latest vehicle offering of Mercedes-Benz through its paces, Hamilton gave his thoughts about the car. Active Multibeam LED Headlights Announced By Mercedes-Benz

The new Active Multibeam headlights will be introduced by Mercedes-Benz within the year, a report indicated recently. The headlights will reportedly have a control system that functions depending on a particular situation, the company revealed. This will bring the lighting technology to an all-new level. Individual LED lighting diodes will be turned on to enhance targeting and light distribution. Changes in the light pattern will be fast since a camera is used by the system to compute the ideal pattern at a rate of one hundred times each second. Mercedes-Benz Receives Awards At The Fleet World Honours

Significant changes implemented by Mercedes-Benz resulted to its receiving the Most Improved Fleet Manufacturer Award during the 2013 Fleet World Honours. Some of the changes the company implemented were the creation of a Strategic Account Manager team and the Small Business Partnership plan. The company also introduced the Direct Sales Programme and the Chauffeur Programm. The retailer training and development of the company was also accredited by the IMI. Fleet sales in the UK market of the company increased by seven percent in 2012. More than half of the sales of the company came from the fleet market. We’ve reported on the smart and BoConcept partnership before, and now, the first production model to come out of that collaboration has been unveiled. The new smart fortwo edition BoConcept limited-edition model has just been unveiled, and prospective buyers can start ordering the coupe and cabrio variants, which are set to reach dealerships by November. The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class will enter the UK market by October and will be available at a £62,650 base price. Three engine options will be available during the launch of the vehicle. A number of new standard features will be offered on the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class such as a reversing camera, full LED Intelligent Light System, Comand Online NTG5, Keyless Start and DAB digital radio. It will also come with high-res TFT display screens. Mercedes-Benz S-Class Pullman Aimed At Topping High-End Luxury Car Market

Daimler head Dieter Zetsche revealed recently that one new model of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is set to compete with the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Zetsche made the revelation when he was interviewed by Autocar. He indicated that the new S-Class was developed to increase the reach of the company in the luxury car market.
