[F1] 2013 British Grand Prix Preview

For the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team, it’s time to put TireGate (or TyreGate) in the rear-view mirror and focus on the upcoming races. However, the battle is still pretty much an uphill one, despite the fact that the team has improved dramatically in previous races. Daimler Trucks Asia Ship First India-made FUSO Units, On Pace for ‘Asia Business Model’ Targets

It looks like Daimler Trucks is successfully implementing its ‘Asia Business Model’ plan, as the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck  and Bus Corporation and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles are on pace to achieve its joint target of 290,000 units in sales by 2020. This is evidenced by the start of exports for new ‘Made in India’ FUSO trucks, which share the same platform as the BharatBenz trucks. Lewis Hamilton has Literal Flying Lap with RAF Red Arrows

Who says you can’t mix business with pleasure? Sometimes, though, F1 drivers have way better perks than most of us. Take Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 driver Lewis Hamilton, for instance. He just spent time with David Coulthard and the RAF Red Arrows last Friday, a side event leading up to this weekend’s British GP. Hamilton and Coulthard hopped onto a Hawk T1 jet, going through some loops and rolls during their 30-minute flight in a three-ship formation. News sources say that a new sub-SLS AMG Mercedes sports car prototype has been spotted recently. Being only a prototype, there are no definite predictions regarding when will the car finally make its debut or if its end product will even see the light of day. Two Mercedes-Benz Kompressor Thieves Caught Red Handed

Two students from a known university in Kenya stole a Mercedes-Benz Kompressor model according to The Nairobian site. But the two geniuses, the engineering and tech students, failed to figure out that the Sh6.5 million ($75,625 in US) Mercedes-Benz car was equipped with a tracking device. As a result, the owner of the car easily found the stolen vehicle parked in the university.
