A new spy shot by WorldCarFans revealed a new Mercedes-Benz vehicle that could very well be the next-generation GLK. The vehicle’s large frame easily gives away its model. Larger and More Sporty A few months ago, Mercedes introduced the 2014 GLA which was also crossover. A new frontal crash test was developed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and most luxury cars; including Mercedes-Benz did not get a good grade. According to CBS News, the test is designed to simulate what happened in a collision with a car, a pole or tree. At 40 miles per hour and at 25% of car’s front end, the cars are bumped into a barrier. In this test, only 3 out of 11 cars got a good grade while Mercedes earned poor score. This week, we have heard that the 2014 Mercedes C-Class was caught by the spy photographers. It was heavily camouflaged with black plastic, so the design of the car is really hard to figure out. Mercedes-Benz is undeniably a desirable brand. This has been proven by numerous awards that the company is getting. Just recently, the C-Class, for the second time was voted in Australia as the “Australia’s Best Car Award”. The Down Under got the C63 AMG and C250 CDI in their market. In Japan, the car got the “Imported Car of the Year Award”. It was presented at the Tokyo Motor Show. Aside from the major award in Australia, the C250 CDI also received the best premium midsize car citation at the Australian Automobile Association while the C63 AMG won the best sports car in its class.
