Daimler Joins the “Clean Diesel. Clearly Better.” Campaign

Daimler, together with BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen along with auto-component company Bosch, joined the project titled “Clean Diesel. Clearly Better.” This campaign developed by German Association of Automotive Industry and their members is developed to create a multi-brand information platform that will let the US population know about the advantages of using “clean diesels” and the technology that runs it. Another aim is to advertise that diesel is better than gasoline in terms of consumption, performance and cleanliness. Mercedes-Benz at the 2012 Ryder Cup

Perhaps we can say that golf and luxury cars have something in common– the wealthy are attracted to them. Because of this, it is not surprising that Mercedes-Benz have decided to participate in the 2012 Ryder Cup that will happen on September 28- 30 at the Medinah Country Club in Chicago, Illinois. Rosberg Not Switching to McLaren

There has been rumors that Nico Rosberg, will be switching teams for 2013 season. After a lot of confusion on drivers moving to other teams, and some comments that Rosberg will be a worthy replacement to Briton Hamilton, the young 27-year old driver denied it. “I’m definitely with the Silver Arrows (Mercedes) and I’m looking forward to getting some more race wins next season,” Rosberg said. Smart fortwo Protects Its Passenger, According to ADAC Test

It is just usual that when a small car crash with a big car, the smaller one get pressed hard – or so we thought. In the standard crash test, vehicles with the same weight are being stimulted to collide with each other. However, the most recent ADAC test made four smaller vehicles crash into a vehicle as big as a lower end midsized car. A lot of smart fortwo owners gathered at the smart times event in Antwerp. In that occasion, these small car enthusiasts showcased their prized vehicles and mingled with other people of the same interest. World Record Made by the 2012 E63 AMG by Modern Horsepower

Modern Horsepower has been tuning Mercedes and AMG cars which are very powerful and dynamic. To add to the list of their numerous records, their latest project, 2012 E63 AMG became the World’s Quickest M157.
