Mercedes Reveals 2014 E-Class Coupe and Cabriolet

After revealing the freshened up E-Class sedan and wagon, Mercedes has removed the wraps off the coupe and cabriolet versions. Although the public will see these models at the upcoming Detroit Auto Show, actual showroom models will be available only after a few more months. Styling cues taken from the sedan are aplenty, although observers will note that the fat rear haunches are reminiscent of the older E-Class. The front end, however, is radically fresh, almost looking like a concept car instead of one destined for the showroom. Katy Perry and John Mayer Spotted with a Vintage Mercedes-Benz

Last November, international singing sensations Katy Perry and John Mayer were seen together on a romantic tour in Santa Barbara, the hometown of the female singer. They were spotted strolling down the two-century old church of Old Mission. But as a Mercedes-Benz fan, what got us more star-struck was the car they entered into after getting some cold beverages. The 28-year old singer was sporting a vintage Mercedes-Benz Ponton convertible. A perfect choice for such a classy and sassy character. Piecha Design Tunes the Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The German aftermarket specialist Piecha Design is celebrating its 30th year in the industry. In line with that, they chose the luxury car Mercedes-Benz E-Class as their new tuning project. The two kinds of E-Class, the Coupe and Cabriolet now has 8.5×19 inch rims in front and 9.5x 19 inch at the back. The tires wrapping the rim are 225/35 front and 255/30 on the rear. Lowering is at 30mm, but you can opt for a size 24 to 400mm per axle too. The body kit on the other hand, is inspired by AMG styling.
