Based on a popular benchmarking platform, Mercedes-Benz is the most popular car brand in the digital media for the first half of 2014. The assessment of the top car brands in the world was facilitated by eBench. The period covered was from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014. The automakers that were included in the study, aside from Mercedes-Benz, were Audi, BMW, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lexus and Land Rover. The selection was based on the top 10 most active prestigious car brands in the world at present. Thirteen metrics was used in the evaluation. Mercedes-Benz Enters a New Battleground in the US EV Market

Mercedes-Benz is gearing to introduce its first mass-produced pure electric vehicle in the U.S. According to Forbes, the flagship luxury vehicle brand of Daimler is looking for an end of June or early July release of the EV in the American soil. Mercedes-Benz Recognized in Vehicle Satisfaction Awards

The research firm, Auto Pacific, conducted its latest vehicle satisfaction survey this year. The results became the basis of the recent Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. Mercedes-Benz, being a top-of-the-line brand when it comes to comfort, performance, luxury, and safety, was one of the awardees. The German marque received awards in two categories according to The Car Connection website. The Vehicle Satisfaction Awards gave the Mercedes-Benz S-Class the President’s Award for Highest VSA Score Ever. BMW Catches Up with Mercedes-Benz in U.S. Sales

The Mercedes-Benz CLA remains as the best-selling range of the three-pointed star brand. BMW finally caught with Mercedes-Benz in U.S. sales. According to Automotive News, the change in trend was influenced by the cheaper models and fashionable crossover vehicles of the three-pointed star brand’s rival. Based on the report, BMW increased its sales by 17 percent last month, thanks to the 81 percent leap of its SUVs and crossovers.
