Mercedes Vision G-Code Crossover Concept Unveiled

Coinciding with the opening of the Mercedes-Benz R&D center in Beijing, China, the three-pointed star brand also released its new subcompact crossover concept dubbed as the Mercedes Vision G-Code. According to the press release of the company, the concept crossover aims to attract younger Asians into the brand. Shorter than the Mercedes GLA Based from the images and information provided by the German automaker, the G-Code will be designed as a Sports Utility Coupe. Mercedes-Benz Plans to Rename the M-Class to GLE

Mercedes-Benz is currently undergoing some major changes in the names of its popular vehicle ranges. Among the ranges affected by the new comprehensive renaming strategy of the brand is the M-Class. According to Automotive News, the German luxury automaker will drop the “M-Class” name in favor of the GLE class. In addition to the renaming, the new GLE would also receive a major facelift in early 2015. Daimler has high hopes for Denza EV in China

It’s been a few months since Daimler held the world premiere of its Denza electric vehicle, the highly anticipated product of its joint venture with Chinese company BYD. Mercedes MLC Spied for the First Time

The Mercedes-Benz Concept Coupe SUV was only revealed last Easter at the 2014 Beijing Motor Show. But now, thanks to the ever-vigilant spies of WorldCarFans, photos of the Coupe SUV’s prototype finally emerged. Although the photos showed a completely camouflaged vehicle, we are pretty positive that it is the Mercedes MLC. Daimler-BYD’s DENZA EV officially unveiled at Auto China 2014

The highly anticipated product of the Daimler-BYD joint venture finally got its world premiere. At the Auto China 2014 event, BYD Daimler New Technology showcased the production model of its pet project, an electric vehicle developed specifically for the Chinese market. BDNT expects the first unit of the DENZA automobile to be available by September 2014. The car is priced at RMB369,000, or around $59,250.
