So far, what we have seen is a teaser image of the Mercedes-AMG hypercar. Details about it are very limited at the moment too. However, thanks to the talent of Peisert Design, we are given an idea of how the powerful car will possibly look like.

Taking cues from the design of modern hypercars and the teaser image released by Mercedes, the artist managed to craft a rendering of the auto, which can be seen on top and below this article. The two photos of the renderings show the hypercar’s sides and back portion. The rear notably resembles the design of the Concept IAA.

About the Mercedes-AMG Hypercar

The hypercar is referred to by AMG boss Tobias Moers as “Project One.” The concept version of the product is expected to be unveiled this year at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

As a hypercar, the vehicle will have around 1,000 hp. A turbocharged 1.6-liter V6 engine like the ones utilized by the Silver Arrow Formula One cars will make this possible. The unit will be combined with a KERS energy recovery system and electric-driven front axle. Using the electric motor alone will allow the vehicle to cover a distance of up to 25 km. Furthermore, The chassis of the hypercar will feature a carbon monocoque, making it light but rigid.

Despite having a very expensive price tag of €2 million, Moers claimed that the Mercedes-AMG hypercar is close to selling out. He said that the car will only be available in 200 to 300 examples. The deliveries of the units to customers will probably start in mid-2018.
