Epic Arctic Trip Comes to a Conclusion

Mercedes-Benz Canada just announced the conclusion of its Sprinter Arctic Drive. The big press release came on January 30, 2013 which was also the time when the big event was completed. The journey started in Edmonton, Alberta on January 22, 2013. Then, the expedition went through northern British Columbia, the Yukon and all the way to Alaska way past the Arctic Circle which exposed the participants into one of the worlds most dangerous weather conditions. The trip came to a finish in Anchorage, Alaska after an eight-day drive. The epic journey was participated by various automotive journalists from the US and Canada. Another Spyshot of the New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Revealed

Thanks to various spy sources on the Internet, we recently discovered the developments of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. As seen in the picture, the camouflage of this one is now lesser than what was featured earlier in other publications. This gives us a glimpse on what we can expect from this new line. The Aesthetic S design is also now becoming more prominent on this car as the front features an F700-inspired grille. Plus, it is equipped with LED-infused headlights. Much Awaited CLA Super Bowl 2013 Ad Finally Released

After all the hype that Mercedes-Benz released for their Super Bowl 2013 ad, we finally had a chance to see it. Spoiler Alert! Amidst the expectations of many that it would center on Kate Upton and Usher, as various press releases led everyone to believe, it was not the case. The video actually focused on a guy and Willem Dafoe in his most devilish character since playing the Green Goblin. Daimler Negotiate With Ford and Renault-Nissan For Fuel-Cell Technology

After facing issues in the development of fuel-cell technology, Daimler looking to companies such as Ford and Renault-Nissan for help. BMW and Toyota recently revealed that it was collaborating in the development of fuel-cell systems for vehicles by 2020. On the part of Daimler, it will not unveil a B-Class that features a fuel-cell system any time soon. Mercedes-Benz Introduces two A-Class BlueEfficiency Variants

Mercedes A180 BlueEfficiency (petrol) and A180 CDI (diesel) are the two variants added to the A-Class line-up. These two models are the precise opposites of the Mercedes AMG versions. Mercedes-Benz has launched two BlueEfficiency variants with the diesel as the most fuel efficient that the German luxurious car company has ever made and that is the A180 CDI. The A180 CDI (diesel) brags its 1.5 –litre and 4-cylinder diesel engine that puts out 109 bhp/260 Nm. It declares a fuel frugality of 33.16 kmpl and 92g/km CO2 emissions. Mercedes-Benz Arocs World Premiere Rounds Out Heavy-Duty Truck Range

The Mercedes-Benz Arocs, the third model in the automaker’s heavy-duty construction vehicle lineup, just had its world premiere in Munich last January 28, rounding out a diverse complement of Euro VI trucks that already had the Actros and the Antos. The Arocs is set to be gradually introduced into the European market starting May of this year. Its role is heavy-duty construction, complemented well by the distribution transport Antos and the long hauler Actros.
