Posaidon Tuned Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4MATIC To 960 Pound-Feet

As if the range-topping Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4MATIC (X166) doesn’t have enough power yet, performance tuner Posaidon decided it needs more. The luxury SUV, in its original state, comes with a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine known as the M 157. Without the tune-up, the engine can produce 585 horsepower (436 kW) with 516 pound-feet of torque (700 Nm). To boost the car’s performance, the tuner adds its own in-house designed turbocharger, changes the ECU, and upgrades the intake and exhaust systems from the ground up. Being a pickup truck, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class is imposing due to its muscular look. However, an unnamed Turkish tuner was able to fit the vehicle with several cosmetic upgrades, which put a touch of opulence to its rugged looks. What we have here is a Mercedes-Benz X250d pickup. This particular unit features a black body paint but some of its key areas like the radiator grille, bumper, bull bar, fenders, roof rack, roll cage, side mirror caps and wheels offer a contrasting gold finish. For some, even the 577-horsepower Mercedes-AMG GT R is not enough. It seems that our need to see fast and able cars is truly insatiable that German car tuner Fostla tuned it to produce a whopping 641 horsepower. The brand’s “stage 1” tune with an addition of a BMC racing filter did not only up the power output, but it also increased the torque from 516 pound-feet to 567 pound-feet. However, owners of the standard Mercedes-Benz C-Class can now get to enjoy the sporty vertical slats design for their cars’ fascia because Hofele-Design just released their new Pan-Amerikana styling package for it. The Mercedes-AMG C63 S is the most potent offering of the C-Class range. Its 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine produces 503 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. That’s good for an acceleration of 0-62 mph in just 3.9 seconds. However, those who are looking to squeeze more power out of it can turn to the latest tuning package released by G-Power. The G-Power package increases the output of the C63 S engine to a total of 789 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque. That’s 286 hp and 221 lb-ft more than the fresh-from-the-factory figures of the vehicle.
