Mercedes-Benz did not release specific details about the July 18 debut of its midsize pickup truck, the Mercedes-Benz X-Class. It did release a teaser video that shows the new pickup in production form, marking the first time that anyone outside Mercedes saw the truck. Earlier, we only knew about the concept vehicles of the X-Class and the general theme of the truck, which incidentally, won’t be sold in the United States, according to Mercedes boss Dieter Zetsche. After releasing a teaser video for the upcoming Mercedes-Benz X-Class, the brand with the three-pointed star logo recently announced that the pickup will debut on July 18. Though it won’t be available in the United States for now, Mercedes boss Dieter Zetsche said anything is possible in the future. Mercedes enthusiasts from U.S. should start crossing their fingers. Recently, the automaker gave a sneak peak of its much-awaited Mercedes-Benz X-Class. The video called “Mercedes-Benz X-Class: First of a New Kind—Teaser”, which was uploaded via YouTube by the three-pointed star brand, features rich visual effects. After the spy shots of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class emerged while it was being tested in the Arctic Circle, a spy video of the pickup was taken in a public road near its maker’s facility in Germany. Compared to the earlier spy photos, the subject in the video is shedding a bit of its camouflage, which already reveal some of its styling elements such as the headlamps and taillamps as well as the radiator grille.
