There is a speculation that the Mercedes-Benz SLK might receive a few modifications. A rumor from a reliable source has it that the upgraded car will debut in 2015. Then, it will hit the market probably by 2016. According to MB Passion, the people at Mercedes are currently developing a facelifted version of the SLK. A flashy pink Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG was recently spotted in China. According to Car News China, which provided the images of the car, the photos were taken in the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong Province. The car came in glossy pink, which was made flashier by the street lights that illuminated it along the way. It also had darkened windows, quad exhaust system, and AMG alloy wheels adorned with five twin-spoke alloy design. Mercedes-Benz recently launched a limited-edition variant of the SLK exclusively for the Japanese market. According to Inautonews, the car carrying the model name Mercedes-Benz SLK 200 Carbon Look Edition will only be produced in 100 units. Each unit costs 6,700,000 yen or around 49,000 euros. The recent makeover given by MEC Design on an old Mercedes-Benz model is likely to appeal to people who seeing V8 engines used on small cars. MEC Design gave the makeover to an old Mercedes-Benz SLK 55 AMG. The design of the vehicle was maintained even as a ConDeni Nobilis set of wheels added to the appeal of the car that was introduced during the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show.
