The styling kit for the Mercedes-Benz SLK was released recently by Wald International, according to a recent motorward.com report. The new Black Bison styling kit was initially previewed by the Japanese tuning company last November.
The luxury convertible from Mercedes-Benz was designed to offer an overwhelming presence to its owners. However, the latest model of the SLK was not given much attention by tuning companies and the styling kit released by Wald International demonstrates this fact.
Some industry watchers revealed that the design of the SLK does not make the work of tuning specialists easier. The shape is considered to be unappealing even with a number of enhancements on the bumpers and side skirts. But the Japan-based tuning specialist gave the SLK a different look altogether.
The Black Bison styling kit provided by Wald International for the Mercedes-Benz SLK gives the vehicle a brand-new front bumper featuring the signature LED daytime running lights of Wald. The front bumper also comes with a set of large-size AMG-like air intakes.
The luxury convertible from Mercedes-Benz was also given aerodynamic side skirts and a redesigned bumper at the back featuring a built-in and well-defined diffuser. The tuning specialist is also set to provide brand-new tailpipes and carbon fiber spoiler at the back for owners of the luxury vehicle.
The SLK performance of the SLK was not enhanced by Wald International. The tuning specialist also does not offer any enhancements on the interior cabin of the vehicle.
The cost of the Black Bison styling package is at $4,567 with an option to add the carbon fiber spoiler at the back for an additional $722. The luxury vehicle on the pictures features specially-designed alloy wheels along with a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system. However, the price tag of these features for the Mercedes-Benz SLK has yet to be released by Wald International.
