Amir Khan Posts Images of His Mercedes S63 AMG Online

Amir Khan, one of the top boxers in the world, recently posted images of his new Mercedes S63 AMG through social media. He uploaded three photos of the car through Twitter just after purchasing it with the post, “Finally got my hands on the #S63.”

The young boxer is a known luxury car enthusiast, similar to Floyd Mayweather who flaunted not so long ago his fleet of luxury and sports cars via social media too.

Khan’s collection may not be as as vast as the American boxer, but he sure shows taste in his choices. In the garage of the British athlete is a Bentley Continental, two Range Rovers, an Audi R8, and a Mercedes CLS 63 AMG. The addition of the Mercedes S63 AMG would bring his three-pointed star car collection to two.

Based on reports, he spent around £100,000 for the performance flagship auto of Mercedes. Looking at the photos of the boxing star, he appears to be very happy with his purchase. Well, who wouldn’t be? Aside from the excellent design of the car, it also possesses an awesome 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine from AMG.

The S63 AMG has an output of 585 hp and 900 Nm of torque. Due to its lightweight architecture, the combined NEDC fuel consumption of the vehicle is only 10.1 to 10.3 liters per 100 km. The power unit and weight of the car enables it to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in only 4.4 seconds while top speed is electronically-limited to 250 km.
