The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class just went on sale this month. Orders for the vehicle start at £22,575.  Among the notable upgrades in the multi-purpose vehicle are its front fascia, lighting, technology, and it was made more efficient than ever.

From the video, it revealed the styling that defined the face-lifted fascia of the MPV was derived from the AMG line. Then, it went on to put emphasis at the luxurious interior of the car. The video taken from the inside also displayed some of the technological upgrades of the new B-Class, highlighted by the the new standout LCD.

The key feature that makes the Mercedes-Benz B-Class standout is its very frugal and environment-friendly engine. The trailer revealed the combined fuel consumption of the B 250 4MATIC is 6.7-6.6 liters per 100 kilometers while its combined carbon dioxide emissions is just 156-154 grams per kilometer.

If you are already impressed with the B 250’s low fuel-use and emission, wait until you see what the B 220 CDI is capable of. Basing from the trailer again, the B 220 CDI model only gets to spend 5 liters of fuel per 100 km. A significant decrease in CO2 emission can be seen in the vehicle too with a combined rate of 131-130 g/km.

Lastly, the B-Class Electric Drive variant, which will be offered in the U.S. was shown. Due to the pure electric motor of this model, its emission is zero while its energy consumption is at 16.6 kWh per 100 km.
