Mercedes-AMG GT R Black Series Confirmed by Tobias Moers

The Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro was just revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The car is a more powerful version of the AMG GT R with a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine beneath its hood. It’s capable of delivering 577 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque between 1,900 rpm and 5,500 rpm. The car is so fast that it finished a lap on the Nurburgring track in just 7:04.662. The new Mercedes-AMG G63 was just unveiled earlier. The latest model of the Gelandewagen features a new look and engine upgrade. The Mercedes-Benz channel on Instagram just reached 1 billion “likes”, making it the most successful brand on the photo and video-sharing social networking service. The research done by T4Media also showed that the German automaker has a fan base of over 35.66 million on the site. Mercedes is the first of the “International Best Global Brand 2018” named by US brand consultancy firm Interbrand to achieve such a feat. The pricing of the Mercedes-AMG G63 was just announced by Mercedes-Benz USA. The company revealed that the high-performance variant of the G-Class has a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $147,500 plus destination and delivery fees amounting to $995. The AMG G63 will roll out in US dealerships by the early part of 2019. From its introduction decades ago, the G-Class sport utility vehicle has kept its retro boxy design and rounded headlamps.
