The Brabus Mercedes-Maybach S600 gets more power in its V12 engine.

The Mercedes-Maybach S600 houses a 6.0-liter biturbo V12 engine with 523 hp and 612 lb-ft of torque. This takes the car from zero to 60 mph in just five seconds despite its 5,269 lbs curb weight.

Brabus commented that due to the powerful engine of the limo, it would be pointless to tune it up further. However, its specialists went on to work with it anyway to bring its output to nearly 900 hp for customers who wanted more out of it.

According to Car and Driver, the famous firm bore out the engine of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 to give it an additional 0.3-liter displacement. After that, Brabus provided the limo with bigger turbos, gave it downpipes with wider diameter, installed new exhausts, upgraded its intake, and flashed its ECU.

The modifications brought the total output of the Mercedes-Maybach S600 to 888 hp with 1,106 lb-ft of torque. These reduced the zero to 62 mph acceleration of the limo also to 3.7 seconds. Moreover, its top speed was tweaked to reach up to 217 mph.

Brabus complemented the upgrades with a lowered suspension and new aero kit for better handling and overall performance on the road. Furthermore, its front fascia was modified to enhance the cooling of the radiators.

The source noted though that there was no mention of reconfiguration in the braking system of the car. It might be due to the fact that the stock stoppers of the limo are already strong enough to do the job even with its added power.
