A Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG kisses a pole passionately at a Gumball event.

A get together event was organized by Gumball 3000 this Sunday afternoon (September 28). The Gumball Meet, held at a car park in Manchester, saw a couple of enthusiastic drivers displaying their skills at the helm of their performance cars.

It was surely a fun-filled event, but there were moments that drove the crowd into a frenzy. Two separate crashes were witnessed by the spectators involving a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG and a Jaguar XKR.

The Jaguar XKR was lucky enough to drive away in its four wheels after getting out of control and crashing into a fence. However, the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG had to be carried by a truck away from the scene when its front was leveled by a pole.

Based from the videos shared by witnesses via YouTube, the Mercedes seemed to be chasing or fooling around with an Audi RS4 Avant prior to the unfortunate incident. Check out the videos below showing what really happened at various angles:

The crowd immediately gathered beside the C63 AMG while displaying mixed reaction. Most of them can be heard jeering and cursing in the background though.

Luckily, no one was hurt following the two major incidents and no arrests were made by the police according to Daily Mail. The source also pointed out that the cops won’t be investigating the matter too. However, the report criticized the drivers for their reckless showboating at the event as they performed tire burnouts and power slides.

With the numerous videos showing how the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG crashed into a pole, the owner of the vehicle would certainly have a hard time explaining himself to his insurance company.
