The SLS AMG Roadster made it to the Guinness World Record

What happens if David Coulthard, an F1 legend, rides the 571hp SLS AMG Roadster? Well, it surely is record-breaking. Mercedes-Benz UK organized an event to get a Guinness World Record of the ‘farthest golf shot to be caught in a moving car”, and they succeeded. When professional golf player Jake Shepherd made the ball fly at 178mph, it was caught by the Mercedes car rolling at 120mph. Everyone was elated and Guinness, upon seeing the video of what happened, immediately confirmed that it was indeed a feat. Today, Mercedes showed the public the ML500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY. If you like fast cars and you do not think that fast and family car does not go together, then you should take a look at this. If you cannot get the AMG version for some reasons, then this vehicle should bring you happiness nevertheless. Powered by a 4.7L V8 engine that’s twin turbo, it creates 408PS and 600Nm of torque. Car Insurance Survey: BMW Owners Pay More Compared to Mercedes-Benz Owners

It is known that BMW and Mercedes-Benz are the two brands that occupy the top of the luxury car segment, followed closely by Lexus. What’s not very well known, however, is that BMW owners pay more for their car insurance compared to their Mercedes-Benz counterparts. According to a recent Automobile.com survey, BMW owners pay 25 percent more on average for their vehicles’ insurance. Car2go, the car-sharing network that uses smart fortwos announced their newest innovation – an application that evaluates driving style. The tool called “EcoScore” determines three factors, smooth driving, acceleration and rolling out a point value between 0 and 100. These values or factors that can be checked using a touch-screen display can help car2go clients to know if their driving style can positively or negatively affect the environment. Spotted! The Mercedes McLaren SLR 722

If ‘old’ cars capture your attention, then you must be like Shmee150 who took this video. He spotted the McLaren Mercedes SLR 722 in the streets of London and he knew instantly that it is Youtube-worthy. The car has black light-alloy wheels that are 19-inch in size. The badge in red that says “722” adorns the car, the slightly modified tail lights made the good-looking car to appear even better. Performance wise, the car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, 300km/h in 21.4 and 200km/h in 10.2. Top speed is at 209mph which is tad faster than the standard SLR (by 1.9 mph).
