Daimler AG to Cut Prices for Mercedes-Benz Parts in China

Bloomberg revealed that Daimler AG would be slicing off the prices for its Mercedes-Benz spare parts in China. The report claimed the parent of the three-pointed star brand will cut the prices by an average of 15 percent starting next month. This came amid an ongoing investigation by the Chinese government of whether automakers in the region have been rigging prices for their products. There are around 10,000 products affected by the price cuts. These cover all Mercedes-Benz models in the country. MB-Spain to Partner with Ceva Logistics

Mercedes-Benz Spain signed a three-year partnership with supply chain management firm CEVA Logistics. The deal will secure the services of CEVA Logistics to manage spare part shipments. CEVA Logistics is one of the leading global firms when it comes to managing supply chains. The company will be tasked to collect spare parts and take charge of the consolidation and distribution of those parts straight to the various Mercedes-Benz dealerships in the dealer network that is comprised of the Balearic Islands, the Canary Islands, and Ceuta and Melilla, which are Spanish cities in North Africa.
