Mercedes-Benz E-Class Coupe details + computer illustrations

Car Magazine has a few computer illustration on how the next gen E-Class Coupe should look like. If you remember back a few weeks ago, we reported that Mercedes will be replacing the CLK with not only a new generation, but also with a new name – the E-Class Coupe. The E-class Coupe will be unveiled at the Geneva motor show in spring 2009. Head over to Car Magazine to get the full details and view more picture.

Auto Zeitung: Next-Gen E-Class without camo (again)

While Autobild showed us the first official pictures of the next-gen E-Class without camo, Auto Zeitung (another German car magazine) has published pictures of what seems like a photo shoot for the next-gen E-Class. The image above looks very similar to what we saw just over a month ago, which only proves our point that the Autobild pictures are indeed authentic. The E-Class is scheduled for a possible Spring 2009 introduction, with a later release for the States. Check out a High-Res image of the spied camo-free next gen E-Class

Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION coup̩ РTrailer

You’ve probably seen the pictures and art work, but check out the trailer of the Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATION coupe. The design study will be shown at this years Paris Motor Show. The ConceptFASCINATION is not only piratical and stylish, but the design study impresses with its technical underpinnings, too. These are drawn from the new E-Class and include the new four-cylinder diesel engine which features BlueTEC technology and develops 150 kW/ 204 hp from a displacement of 2.2 litres. Enjoy!

Spy Shots: Mika Häkkinen testing the Mercedes E63 AMG

MotorAuthority has some exclusive shots of the former McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 driver Mika Hà¤kkinen behind the wheel of the E63 AMG test vehicle. His co-pilot is the long time Mercedes-Benz test and race driver Klaus Ludwig. A few clues that give away the test mule as being the E63 is the rear bumper with quad tailpipes as well as the perforated brake discs with over-sized calipers. Autobild Publishes First Official Pictures of the 2010 E-Class

After years of rumors and numerous spy photos and videos, the next-gen E-Class has finally been revealed. German’s top Car Magazine, Autobild, has published first pictures of the new E-Class without camouflage. In the their newest issue, the above image is plastered on the front page with the following headline “Exclusive Photos – First time without camouflage”, which bringing us to the conclusion that these pictures are the real deal. It also states that it should be coming out in March of 2009, which means that the Frankfurt Auto Show might not even be the first time we see it. Spy Video: Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG at the Nürburgring

The guys at Inside Line have released a spy video from the test track at the Nuerburgring from what seems to be the E63 AMG. As you’ll see on the video, besides the new headlights and brake-cooling ducts, the overall design is more on the evolusionary side, but of course that doesn’t meant the final design will be anything like we see on the video. Its quite clear that they are testing the engine and overall cars performance, so seeing no bodykit with AMG wheels and exhaust is acceptible.
