Cool-Looking Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Darth Vader

California-based ADV1 and Miami-based Wheels Boutique collaborated on a project that transformed a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG into a customized vehicle that was dubbed Darth Vader. A MED Design carbon fiber body kit was used on the SLS AMG Coupe, giving it an all-black, aggressive appearance. The body kit also included a front spoiler, boot lid spoiler, and a rear diffuser. All of these features along with the entire body were given a clear black coat finish. Quadruple exhaust tips of the Akrapopvic exhaust system are found on the rear apron of the vehicle. Revealed: Next Mercedes-Benz SLS on the Works

Tobias Moers, AMG Director of Vehicle Development, confirmed through Autoblog that they are ruling out producing hybrid cars that could match the likes of Ferrari Le Ferrari, McLaren P1 and Lamborghini Veneno which were recently revealed in the Geneva Motor Show. Moers added that they are not planning on going head-to-head with the hypercars of McLaren and Ferrari. Instead, he disclosed that his company is planning on making a new model that could serve as a successor to the SLS AMG. Oakley Design, Refined Marques Work Together on Mercedes-Benz SLS 640-2 Carbon Edition

As if the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG wasn’t fancy and powerful enough, performance tuner Oakley Design and luxury/collectors car seller Refined Marques have worked together to produce the SLS 640-2 Carbon Edition, which is fitted with a bunch of carbon components and the performance has been tweaked to get to 636 bhp. Aside from the carbon parts, the vehicle has been equipped with added LED-lined air intakes as well as a fresh exhaust system. Based on the promotional photos of the Carbon Edition, the exhaust system bears a resemblance to the one on the Black Series C63 AMG.
