The Mercedes-AMG GT S is considered as among the best luxury supercars in the market. But, it appears that some people have other plans for this supercar from the German luxury vehicle manufacturer. The AMG GT S is set to make its first appearance as the official safety vehicle during the second DTM race, as shown on a report from gtspirit.com. A Mercedes prototype was recently spotted at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. GTSpirit believes that the car could be the road version of the Mercedes-AMG GT3. Looking at the spy photo provided by the source as well as the video below, which was uploaded in YouTube by WorldCarFans, the car does appear to carry some GT3 elements like the new front lip spoiler, fenders, and the fixed wide rear wing. It does lack some of the overly showy aerodynamic features of its race car counterpart though like the larger side skirts, big front air intakes, and front wings. A recent report from autoevolution.com revealed that Mercedes-AMG has unveiled the Cigarette Racing 50 Marauder GT S Concept together with Cigarette Racing during the Miami International Boat Show. The speed boat drew its inspiration form the Mercedes-AMG GT and was developed in collaboration with the high-performance speed boat manufacturer.
