The Simon Motorsports Mercedes G63 AMG is put to the dyno to test its brutish power under the hood.

The Mercedes G63 AMG is very popular in Dubai because of its classic and luxurious appeal coupled with power. Power that is more evident when it tackles sand dunes off the road or outside the city. However, one particular model of the vehicle was tuned by Simon Motorsports for its 5.5 liter biturbo V8 engine to achieve up to 728 hp and 1,052 Nm of torque.

So, how does a Mercedes G63 AMG carrying an output of 728 hp with 1,052 Nm of torque sound like when the pedal is put to the metal? Check out the video below and tune up your speakers to hear the screaming sound of the vehicle while it was put on a dyno in Dubai by its tuner. You might want to shout “Happy New Year” while you’re at it because it sure is as angry as a couple of fireworks in the sky.

The power within the hood of the Simon Motorsports Mercedes G63 AMG is definitely a music to the ears of car enthusiasts who are hungry of loud engine noises.

It should be noted that the subject of the video did not require much hardware changes to get such power because its V8 engine was already engineered with so much potentials. All the tuner did was fit it with custom downpipes plus a BMC air filter. Then, everything else was managed by the company’s Stage II ECU remap.
