Mercedes-Benz has just launched the latest version of the S-Class in the form of the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance. It’s the most powerful S-Class ever built, benefitting from the sophistication offered by the flagship range and performance provided by the AMG division.

The AMG S E Performance comes with a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbo engine combined with AMG’s high-performance battery (HPB), creating a total output of 802 hp and 1,430 Nm of torque. The hybrid drivetrain also allows for an all-electric range of 33 km.

The car is equipped with standard features such as air suspension, active roll stabilization, rear-axle steering, digital lights, and the driver assistance package with active assistance systems including Pre-Safe Plus and Pre-Safe Impulse Side. It is available to order in Germany starting at EUR 208,392.80 (including VAT), and deliveries will begin in May 2023.

The AMG S 63 E Performance is a luxury sedan that combines comfort and noise-free electric driving with best-in-class performance. Additionally, the car has pre-entry climate control and an OLED central display as standard.

Mercedes-Benz is also offering the AMG Edition 1, which is available for a limited period after the market launch. It includes exclusive specifications, such as the Manufaktur alpine grey uni paintwork, 21-inch AMG forged wheels in cross-spoke design, and seat covers padded with exclusive AMG Nappa leather with contrasting red topstitching.

The AMG Exterior Night Package further adds to the car’s dynamic presence with dark chrome or high-gloss black trim available on various parts of the car. Meanwhile, the AMG Exclusive package includes black Nappa leather seats with red seams and an AMG performance steering wheel clad in the same material plus microfibre with red topstitching.
