Meet the Gruma Hunter Based on the Mercedes-Benz X-Class

Giancarlo Perlas October 28, 2018

Gruma Automobile recently unveiled its modified Mercedes-Benz X-Class called the “Gruma Hunter”. As the vehicle’s name says, it was made to cater to the needs of professional and leisure hunters.

Gruma is an aftermarket shop that specializes in customizing Mercedes vehicles. So when its specialists got their hands on the X-Class, they did a great job in improving the design, particularly the utility, of the pickup.

First, Gruma gave the X-Class a dark matte jungle green wrap. The color looks a bit like the one used on the Mercedes-AMG GT R, also referred to as the “Beast of Green Hell”, with just a darker hue. The shop chose the theme to eliminate the reflectivity of the auto’s body, and allow it to effectively blend with the forest. The wrap is available in camouflage theme too.

Second, Gruma fitted the pickup with Bollards alloy wheels, roof rack, front bar, side bars and roll bar. These were complemented by an underside reinforcement and tachogenerator.

If the mentioned add-ons are not yet enough for the buyer, a front and rear winch, dog crate, rifle storage and holder, Aquatogo Pro mobile smart pressure cleaner, Lazer Lamps Utility-80 high-performance lighting and an extra compartment in the bunk can be included as optional equipment. The roof can be transformed into an elevated platform as well, which the hunter can position himself or herself when shooting the game.
