Mercedes-Maybach E-Class To Be Unveiled Next Year

Last month a heavily camouflaged prototype under the Mercedes-Benz E-Class shell was spotted cruising the streets. There was something special with it though. It was longer than the standard version of the range. The area between the B-pillar and the C-pillar was stretched. The C-pillar also carried a window hidden beneath the camo, indicating a design similar to the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. With those clues, plus the hints of Mercedes-Benz USA CEO Steve Cannon in his interviews with several sources in the past, the spotted car might be the Mercedes-Maybach E-Class. Daimler CEO Dr. Dieter Zetsche revealed yesterday that Mercedes-Benz would be presenting a new concept vehicle at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show.
