One of the products that will be highlighted by Mercedes-Benz at the Geneva Motor Show in March is the special edition of the SL. The Mercedes-Benz SL designo Edition offers more exclusivity in its exterior and interior plus some awesome elements to improve its driving dynamics.

Here is a quick look at the top 5 features of the car based on Daimler’s press release:

1. Exterior

Outside, the Mercedes-Benz SL designo Edition gets a “brilliant blue” finish. Then customers have an option between 19-inch or 20-inch 10-spoke forged wheels from AMG with chrome flics in the front apron. Of course, there are the designo Edition badges to remind everyone that they are not looking at an ordinary SL.

2. Interior

Inside the car is a high-quality leather wrapping its surfaces. The interior design includes a “piano white” trim on the dashboard and side panels. It also comes with comfort features such as the AIRSCARF neck-heater and massage system.

3. Tech

For safety, the SL designo Edition offers driving assistance functions like the PRE-SAFE, Active Land Keeping Assist, Active Blind Spot Assist, Active Brake Assist and Steering Pilot.

4. Engine

The Mercedes-Benz SL designo Edition is available in SL 400 and SL 500 models. The first has an output of 367 hp and the second has 455 hp. The acceleration of the SL 400 from zero to 100 km/h is at 4.9 seconds while the SL 500 is at 4.3 seconds. The two have an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h.

5. Price

The SL 400 designo Edition has a price tag of 117,107.90 euros. The SL 500 designo Edition costs 137,088 euros.
