The specialists at ShifTech recently introduced some changes in the engine configuration of the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe. Based on the photos provided by the tuner on its Facebook page, the car was given an output totaling up to 655 hp and 1,115 Nm of torque. That’s 70 hp and 215 Nm more than the original engine specifications of the coupe from the Mercedes-AMG factory.

Aside from the information provided in the photos featured on ShifTech’s Facebook page, no other data is available yet about the car. But the photos stated that the luxury auto received the tuner’s Stage 1 Reprogrammation while retaining its stock 5.5 V6 biturbo engine.

It is possible that the ECU of the car has been remapped, its brakes enhanced, and the exhaust system upgraded. These remain as speculations though because of the lack of additional info on the subject. We are just taking a hint on the usual works done in other Stage 1 tuning packages.

We will update everyone about the other highlights of the kit once the tuner responds to our inquiry about it, which was sent through their social network page. Anyone who has further details about the matter is also free to share his or her thoughts through the comment box here. We would be delighted to hear more about this product.
