All-New Mercedes-Benz EQE Spied on the Road

The countdown until the official unveiling of the Mercedes-Benz EQE electric vehicle may be nearing its end. The car is already getting test-driven on public roads as shown in its latest sighting. The recent video taken by walkoART shows the prototype covered in zebra camouflage as it is being driven within the vicinity of Nurburgring. The car is most probably undergoing in-city, wet road testing looking at the in-road conditions in the spy shot. The form and stance of the EQE look almost the same as the recently-unveiled Mercedes-Benz EQS EV. The most noticeable changes in the spied car include a shorter front overhang and sedan-like rear unlike the liftback… Continue Reading »

Production Version of the Mercedes-Benz EQT Van Rendered

Last month’s unveiling of the EQT concept certainly redefines how we look at Mercedes-Benz vans from now on. While there are already ways to put luxurious amenities and electric powertrains in the multi-purpose Sprinter and the V-Class, the Mercedes-Benz EQT elevates itself from the two by being solely marketed under the premium segment of the three-pointed star brand. It combines all the sensual appeal and technology found in the luxury cars and SUVs of its maker in the shell of a small van. Like most Mercedes models, the production version of the EQT will likely differ a bit from its concept. That’s because concept vehicles mostly focus on aesthetics over… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-AMG EQS Edition 1 Unveiled in Digital Rendering

Even before the Mercedes-Benz EQS made its world premiere, its maker revealed that they are already working on its high-performance variant. Following that, spy shots of a partially camouflaged Mercedes-AMG EQS surfaced online to further tease the upcoming electric vehicle. We are still a long way from the official unveiling of the EV, but taking hints from the spy shots, statements of Mercedes, and the platform of the car, ElectricVehicleWeb.in came up with its artistic rendering. The artist calls it the Mercedes-AMG EQS Edition 1. Although AMG is no longer a stranger to EVs since it already made the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive and the hybrid Mercedes-AMG Project One,… Continue Reading »

2022 Mercedes-Benz EQE Spied Screeching Its Tires In Nurburgring

We will surely miss the sweet sound of the V6, V8, and V12 engines when almost all cars out there will already be powered by electricity. On the bright side, automakers and car owners alike are now doing their part in gradually cleaning the air around us. Thanks to the dedication of Mercedes-Benz in this effort, we are seeing more and more electric vehicles from the luxury carmaker lately. After the unveiling of the EQA, EQB, EQC, and EQS, all that’s left are the EQE and EQG. Recently, the Mercedes-Benz EQE was spied testing in Nurburgring and its neighboring areas again. This time, we are getting a good audio of… Continue Reading »

2023 Mercedes-AMG EQE Spied During Testing

Mercedes-Benz is yet to unveil the EQE in September, but new spy photos confirm that the Mercedes-AMG EQE is already in the works. Previous patent filings with the European Union Intellectual Property Office also hint at the trims that we can expect from the range. Information about the EQE is scarce as of the moment, but Motor1 claims that the spy shots here show the prototype of the car. We have a strong reason to believe that the source is right. Here are the things that support our suspicion that the car is indeed the AMG EQE: Mercedes already unveiled the EQA, EQB, EQC, and EQS. What remains to be… Continue Reading »

New Mercedes-Benz EQS SUV Spied in the Open

Mercedes-Benz appears to be on schedule in meeting its self-imposed deadline going to 2022. The German automaker plans to introduce at least 10 electric vehicles in the market before the said year ends. One of the EVs bearing the three-pointed star logo that was unveiled not so long ago was the Mercedes-Benz EQS sedan, which looks to be on top of its game with its high-end features and borrowed elements from the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.  Not wanting to make the momentum go to waste, the luxury brand appears to be extensively working on the SUV counterpart of the flagship electric sedan already. We have plenty of reason to believe that the… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-Benz Plans To Put More Than 10 PHEVs On The Road By The End of 2019

Mercedes-Benz plans to revolutionize its entire lineup of cars by offering a range of EQ all-electric cars, EQ power plug-in hybrids, and EQ Boost 48V mild hybrids. This year, the German automaker will finally introduce its first EQC model around summer while its plug-in hybrid portfolio is set to expand to more than 10 models with gasoline and diesel options by the year’s end. Mercedes-Benz plans to electrify its entire product range by 2022, which is three years from now so it makes sense for the German company to start the transition this year. And by the end of 2020, the number of plug-in hybrids will increase to over 20… Continue Reading »
