Mercedes-Benz X-Class Turned Into A Bad Boy Off-Roader

When the production version of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class was introduced, everyone was in agreement that it was nothing like the concept it was based on. Although the X-Class is as plush as a mid-sized pickup truck can get, that is not what we’re expecting from an off-roader the German automaker boasted about. Fans and pundits alike were expecting to see the Powerful Adventurer, as the concept was fittingly dubbed. In that concept, the X-Class was painted in a shade of matte yellow and features many off-road capabilities. Thankfully, tuner Pickup Design picked up from where Mercedes left off and finished the job that should have been the X-Class all along…. Continue Reading »

Mercedes-Benz Is Offering Subsidies For Older Diesel Cars In Germany To Meet Government Regulations

Can the best after-sales service please go to Mercedes-Benz? Its parent company Daimler is offering Mercedes-Benz customers in Germany a $3,350 subsidy to retrofit older diesel cars that will be affected by the country’s recent ban of diesel vehicles in inner cities. The subsidy will supposedly upgrade the exhaust filters of older and pollution-heavy diesel vehicles. This is the latest effort by German companies to help their old cars avoid the inner-city ban imposed by some German cities and regions. German cities have started to ban certain pollution-emitting vehicles from their inner cities as a way to cut fine particulate matter and toxic nitrogen oxides. This week, Daimler launched a… Continue Reading »

Creative Bespoke’s Mercedes-AMG GT S Packs 656 HP

Until the introduction of the Black Series, Mercedes’ AMG GT family will remain incomplete. But the waiting game for the Black Series is seemingly overpowered by what US-based elite tuner Creative Bespoke did with the Mercedes-AMG GT S. While the Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro is already the talk of the town with its 577-horsepower output and a limited release of just 750 units, it looks like it won’t hold a candle to the modified AMG GT S. Powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine that generates 656 horsepower, to say that this is one of the most powerful Mercedes vehicles ever tuned-up is an understatement. The stock version of the… Continue Reading »

The New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Has Intriguing Taillights

A spy shot from a round of testing in Breckenridge, Colorado showed the Mercedes-Benz S-Class prototype in its development phase. A fresh photo revealed the rear and triangular taillights of the vehicle. The S-Class prototypes are doing rounds in the small ski resort town based on the spy photo of Carscoops reader Evan Solida. As many spy shots revealed before, this new image showed that the new S-Class is stylistically different than the outgoing model. While the rear is heavily camouflaged, that’s not enough to hide the triangular taillights peeking from underneath. The lights are inspired by the CLS, which was not well received by Mercedes fans. It doesn’t look… Continue Reading »

2019 Mercedes-Benz B-Class Is A Family-Friendly Affair

The 2019 Mercedes-Benz B-Class is, perhaps, the most family-friendly vehicle the automaker has come up within recent years. Now on its third generation, the B-Class has more room both for passengers and cargo, as well as the German manufacturer’s latest driver-machine interface. Families everywhere would love the B-Class, which is reigniting Mercedes’ role in the slowly dying segment of MPVs. The latest B-Class is using the same platform as the A-Class and the CLA, the latest in Mercedes’ lineup of compact cars. Although it follows the similar style of its predecessor, the 2019 B-Class has had a significant makeover. The design isn’t something that will turn heads around when you… Continue Reading »
