The Best Games For Mercedes Fans To Enjoy Driving Their Favorite Cars

Giancarlo Perlas November 1, 2023

If the aim of the game is driving fast and having fun, then there are some makes of cars that are just begging to be digitized and taken for a virtual joyride. Mercedes is, of course, one of the forerunners for discerning drivers, and there are plenty of games that feature these stylish, yet robust cars.

Some of the most popular games featuring Mercedes include:

The Forza Franchise

This is one of the gaming world’s big hitters, with millions of fans worldwide playing these fast-paced racing games. One of the things that makes them so popular is the wide selection of cars available, and among these are several models of Mercedes.

Mercedes in Forza

Previous versions of the game featured top-of-the-line Mercedes, so expectations were high for the latest release, and the line-up did not disappoint. The Mercedes options on offer in the Forza series include vintage models such as the 1929 Super Sport Kurz Barker Roadster and the 1939 W154.

The game also includes some more modern designs as well as some unusual vehicles like the AMG Hammer Coupe, the 65 AMG Black Series, the Tankpool 24 Racing Truck, and the 63 AMG 6×6. Fans of driving games, Mercedes, racing, and cars will all enjoy this series of games and the wide variety of cars available.

Project Cars

The work of the aptly named Slightly Mad Studios, this game is perfect for those who want a simple racing game to ease them into virtual driving. They started including Mercedes in their games back in 2015 when they introduced some of the most impressive cars to their collection, including:

  • 1952 300SL
  • 1971 300SEL 6.8 AMG ‘Rote Sau’
  • 1989 Sauber C9
  • 1990 190E 2.5-16 Evolution 2 DTM
  • 1998 CLK-LM
  • 2010 SLS AMG Coupe
  • 2012 SLS AMG GT3
  • 2012 C-Class Coupe DTM
  • 2013 A45 AMG
Project Cars Mercedes

This selection of cars is any driver’s dream and Mercedes fans can drive these and many more in Project Cars, on a choice of tracks including a fifteen-kilometre-long track on a frozen lake near the Artic Circle that was designed by famous Formula 1 track architect Hermann Tilke.

The game offers players a chance to experience what it’s like to try and control a supercar across the ice and the focus is all on realism in the way the cars move and respond to the player’s commands.

Grand Theft Auto

As one of the most renowned games around, GTA has earned a worldwide following through its incredible array of cars, terrains, tracks, and storylines. Of course, no driving game would be complete without a few Mercedes to choose from, and GTA has consistently delivered some of the most impressive models around, allowing players to go for free spins in some of the most expensive cars around.

Dubsta

Although the cars aren’t explicitly named, they are referred to as ‘Benefactor’ in the game, there are a number of vehicles that have been so heavily inspired by Mercedes models that it’s almost impossible to tell the difference. The Dubsta and Dubsta 6×6 are modeled on the G63 AMG and its 6×6 counterpart.

The Serrano is based on the M-Class W164 and the Stretch E bears a striking similarity to the E-Class Limousine. The inventively named Terrorbyte was inspired by the Zetros 2733 6×6 Expedition Truck and there is even the BR8 which bears a strong resemblance to the Red Bull RB8.

Assetto Corsa

This racing simulator has been praised by those in the industry for the attention to detail that makes the driving experience so realistic. The wide selection of cars means that you can take on the AI opponent in vehicles from classic coupes to cutting-edge hypercars and everything in between.

The Mercedes options in the game include:

  • 2014 S63 AMG
  • Mclaren Mercedes SLR 722
  • AMG GT-S VLN
  • 300SL Gullwing W198
  • C63 AMG Black Series
  • CLK GTR GT1
  • 190E EVO II
  • 190E EVO II Street
  • 300 SEL 6.3
  • CLR LM
  • L-series – Formula Truck
  • SLR Stirling Moss
  • T5 Maures 2015

Fans of the game love the highly realistic car interiors, with fully functioning accessories and strong colors which make it feel more immersive. The tracks are incredibly detailed, with scuffed curbs and players with wheel accessories can enjoy a lot of haptic feedback as they jolt over them and have to wrangle their cars back onto the track.

The lifelike physics, wide selection of top cars, and overall attention to detail make this a popular choice among racing enthusiasts, gearheads, and gamers.

Whether you like to drive fast cars in real life or prefer to keep your speedy shenanigans to the virtual racetracks, there are plenty of games to help you fulfill your need for speed. Mercedes fans will be pleased to learn that they can get behind the wheel of some of their favorite vehicles, from sleek, superfast sports cars to sixteen-wheelers and everything in between.
