After bringing the output of the  Mercedes-AMG E 63 S to 800 hp, Brabus released another tuning package that gives the same amount of power to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S and the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 luxury SUVs. Mercedes-Benz GLE and GLS Recalled Over Defective Illuminated Logos

It’s only an illuminated logo, so what could go wrong? Apparently, what may be deemed as just an aesthetic element in a Mercedes-Benz SUV may factor in a serious accident because of faulty electrical wiring. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the illuminated three-pointed star logo of Mercedes SUVs is causing a malfunction in the power steering, wiper motor, and left headlamp. The issue was attributed to an incorrectly installed electrical ground. The units affected are the Mercedes-Benz GLE and Mercedes-Benz GLS SUV models. We just saw the Mercedes-Benz GLS making its rounds. Lately, there have been sightings of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe too. This time, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 sport utility vehicle was caught waiting for its turn to go at a stop light. The unit was only wearing a little amount of camouflage, so we can clearly see its side panels, hood, roof, and lights. Mercedes-Benz GLE PHEV Could Have at Least 62-Mile Range

The Mercedes-Benz GLE is getting a plug-in hybrid version soon. The plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) is planned to have at least a 62-mile electric range. The information was revealed during the interview of Ola Kallenius, head of Daimler group research and Mercedes-Benz cars development, with Automotive News. He claimed that if they could reach the 62-mile figure, then the GLE will become the first PHEV to achieve such feat in the WLTP cycle.
