Versions of the Mercedes EQA and EQB electric vehicles (EVs) were recently spotted testing with some minor camouflage. This could only mean that the models are already due for a mid-cycle refresh despite only having been introduced two years ago. As we have been accustomed to, the concealed areas suggest the portions where the updates will be positioned. Mercedes-Benz to Offer Subscription-Based Power Boost

It turns out that the new electric vehicles (EVs) of Mercedes-Benz have more than what meets the eye. Recently, the automaker revealed some secret features of its EQ cars that can only be unlocked through a subscription-based service similar to what Tesla and other EV makers have been offering. According to Mercedes, the service entails a $1,200 yearly subscription to gain access to a 20% to 24% increase in the power output of its EVs. Mercedes-Benz EQ Models Are Having Their Own AMG Versions

Mercedes-AMG is moving from offering mild-hybrids to full-electric vehicles. Markus Schaefer, the R&D Chief of Daimler, confirmed that the high-performance division of the three-pointed star marque will be making juiced-up Mercedes-Benz EQ models.
