Jeremy Clarkson, the former host of BBC’s Top Gear, broke a sad news to Twitter a couple days ago. In his tweet, he stated that he just sold his Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series. The tweet of the former car show host was met with mixed reactions. A number of people expressed their dismay and sympathized with him. Tobias Moers confirmed plans for a Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series at the 2014 Paris Motor Show during an interview with Evo. However, don’t get your hopes up too much for now because the AMG chief hinted the car is a part of a long-term plan. Mercedes-Benz just quietly released a new addition to its SL roadster variant in its official website, which is called the 2015 Mercedes-Benz SL 400. The revitalized line features new engine specs as well as a more accessible price for buyers. The new version ditched its predecessor’s V8 engine and replaced it with an all-new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with a displacement of 2996 cc. The engine’s listed output is 329 hp with 354 lb-ft of torque. The power of the car is distributed through its seven-speed automatic gearbox. A recent report from the official website of Mercedes-Benz UK revealed that the Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG will be featured on BBC. The six-wheeled colossus from the luxury vehicle manufacturer will go through its paces on the on the February 23 episode of Top Gear with Richard Hammond behind the wheel. The behemoth features a 5.5-iter twin-turbo V8 AMG engine and combines brilliant on-road performance with an extremely outstanding off-road capability.
