It boasts a high output from its powerplant consisting of a six-cylinder combustion engine and electric motor. Power As an AMG product, expect nothing less when it comes to the power of the SUV. We just saw the Mercedes-Benz GLS making its rounds. Lately, there have been sightings of the Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe too. This time, the Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 sport utility vehicle was caught waiting for its turn to go at a stop light. The unit was only wearing a little amount of camouflage, so we can clearly see its side panels, hood, roof, and lights. The only covered areas of the auto were its bumpers, side skirts, badges, and front grille. The layout of the wrapped components suggests that the vehicle is definitely AMG. The spies have been busy as of late as a new video reveals a Mercedes-Benz SUV prototype in the works. The vehicle is suspected to be a next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe model. Although the auto appears to be clad in full camouflage, its dimensions and shape follow the current GLE Coupe. From the nose way back to the slope of its roofing going to the rear hatch, everything screams of the compact SUV. Mercedes-Benz GLE PHEV Could Have at Least 62-Mile Range

The Mercedes-Benz GLE is getting a plug-in hybrid version soon. The plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) is planned to have at least a 62-mile electric range. The information was revealed during the interview of Ola Kallenius, head of Daimler group research and Mercedes-Benz cars development, with Automotive News. He claimed that if they could reach the 62-mile figure, then the GLE will become the first PHEV to achieve such feat in the WLTP cycle.
