Mercedes-Benz Sprinter City 75 Is The Minibus of the Year 2019

Mercedes-Benz’s Sprinter City 75 was awarded Minibus of the Year 2019 after impressing an international specialist jury at this year’s Minibus Euro Test in Madrid. The jury was won over by the vehicle’s impressive amount of space and numerous technological features. Journalists were quick to point out the fact that the German automaker managed to create space for up to 38 passengers, thanks to the new high-load rear axle. Space was ergonomic and used as efficiently as possible, they noted. Till Oberwörder, head of Daimler Buses and chairman of the board of management of EvoBus GmbH, said the company is very happy with the award and that it proves that… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 Van Unveiled

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter may not be enjoying the same level of reception as the other Mercedes luxury vehicles because of its utilitarian design but here is something to get us a bit excited about the van range of the German automaker. Recently, the company revealed the 4×4 version of the Sprinter. Among the main selling points of the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4×4 include an adaptive electronic stability program (ESP), an acceleration skid control (ASR) that can be disabled, a downhill speed regulation (DSR) with reduction gear, and a new traction-control system called the 4ETS. The selectable all-wheel-drive system of the Sprinter 4×4 offers a 35/65 front-to-rear torque split as a default configuration…. Continue Reading »

The next-generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van is slowly taking shape in the United States. These spy shots showed the van being tested in two configurations: one as a work-ready chassis cab and the other as an integrated motorhome version. Though the Sprinters were heavily clad in camouflage and black plastic panels in the spy shots provided by Trucks.com to prevent a good look at the new design, we still got a glimpse of what’s to come for the next-generation van. 1. Exterior There’s something happening on the side profile of the new Sprinter van that causes the window to have a “dramatic” upward swoop. According to those who have seen the… Continue Reading »

Spy Shots Of The New Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Are Out

There are a lot of speculations about how the next-generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter will look like, but that’s about to end now as spy photographers recently snapped the van being tested in some twisty mountain roads. Considering that the Sprinter van was covered in camouflage that could wrap several new A-Class vehicles, we still managed to create a rendition of this 2019 model-year Sprinter Van from the German automaker. Truth be told, it looks like the van will use a larger passenger van/bus configuration. That much the wraps cannot cover. It might seem a little overkill to wrap the van in all that camouflage, but that’s what prototype testing is traditionally… Continue Reading »
