Mansory Mercedes-AMG G63 Gets a Sky Blue Look

It seems Mansory has been very busy lately. The tuner has been releasing new builds of the popular Mercedes models almost every month this year. The latest to come out is the sky blue Mercedes-AMG G63 featured here. The most noticeable feature of the new AMG G63 is its paint dubbed as “China Blue” by the tuner. It covers the entire exterior of the G-Class while some of the accessories are highlighted with black. The widebody kit includes a carbon fiber hood, LED roof lights, rear roof spoiler, bumper lip, and Mansory-branded cover for the spare wheel at the back. In addition, the SUV is fitted with 23-inch Y-spoke alloy… Continue Reading »

New Brabus Mercedes-AMG G63 is Not for the Faint of Heart

The new Brabus Mercedes-AMG G63 is not for the faint of heart. First of all, it’s €453,033 ($540,000 at prevailing exchange rates) price tag alone can buy around three standard AMG G63 SUVs. Second, ordering the product does not mean getting it right away because deliveries take 4 to 12 months after purchase. However, for people with that kind of money to blow, they will get a G-Class that further stands out with its carbon fiber look and major power upgrade. The body kit of Brabus for the AMG G63 includes a metallic black exterior paint with gold accents, extended wheel arches with rear vents, and 11×23-inch wheels with 25-spoke… Continue Reading »

Meet the Ford Mustang Powered by Mercedes-AMG

Anarchy Garage recently unveiled its latest creation, which is a Ford Mustang on the outside but Mercedes-AMG inside. That’s basically a mishmash of the best of American and German car engineering. At a glance, one will immediately notice that the 1969 Ford Mustang is more than just a classic muscle car. It features an unusually huge bumper, which happened to be sourced out from a Mercedes-AMG E63. The brake calipers and front grille are also AMG branded. Then its exterior is topped off by LED lights and twin exhausts on each side. It does not end there because even the interior benefitted from an E-Class dashboard and A-Class seats. The… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-Benz V-Class Gets a BMW Grille From Mansory

Giving a Mercedes-Benz car or SUV a BMW grille could be seen as a travesty, but we can probably let the new Mercedes-Benz V-Class modified by Mansory slide for now. Whether we want to admit it or not, the V-Class van leaves a lot to be desired for an auto that bears the three-pointed star logo. That’s until it is customized as an RV or special vehicle. For this one, Mansory took a risk putting a large grille with vertical slats on the van that appears to be inspired by the latest front design of its rival. We do not know for sure if it was originally intended to replicate… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-Benz V-Class Vs Exotic Cars in a Drag Race

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is just “meh” in its stock configuration. It only gets exciting when it is tuned for SEMA or turned into an RV. However, the people at GAD Motors found out that its engine bay is big enough to house AMG’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, and that’s where this story gets more interesting. Recently, GAD installed a handcrafted AMG M117 engine in the van to boost its output from 190 hp to 585 hp. It’s the same unit possessed by the AMG C 63, E 63, GT 63, and G63. Then it received carbon-ceramic brakes to improve its braking, especially at high speeds. The suspension system of the auto… Continue Reading »

Is This Mercedes-AMG G63 Savage or What?

The Mercedes-AMG G63 is by far the best that the current-generation G-Class has to offer after retiring the AMG G65. Its classic boxy body and luxurious features give it a very iconic aura and beneath its hood lies a powerful V8. However, for those who want to give it a more exclusive look and extra power, an Illinois aftermarket tuner called “Savage” just released its new package for it. Outside, the Savage AMG G63 has modifications similar to the ones offered by the latest Mansory Gronos G-Class. The widebody upgrades of the SUV had all its chrome highlights blacked out, and then it added a red hue on its halo… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 Gets a Boost and New Look from Vath

The Mercedes-AMG GLB 45 may no longer see the light of day after its supposed spy shots that surfaced a year ago but Vath recently did something to the Mercedes-AMG GLB 35 that may make it worthy of the 45 badge. The tuner gave the spacious subcompact SUV a power boost and a cosmetic upgrade. Power Starting with what’s under the hood, the AMG GLB 35 comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine similar to the Mercedes-AMG A 35 hot hatch. It produces 302 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque in its stock configuration that goes to a 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system and distributed via an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. That’s… Continue Reading »
