The SEMA Show 2014 definitely showed us the “do’s and don’ts” when customizing a vehicle. From the outrageous to the outstanding, the different auto booths had it all. As usual, the Mercedes booth stood out once again due to its jaw-dropping concept vehicles. One of the three-pointed star units that really amazed us though was the LeTech USA Mercedes G-Class. Following the launch of the research and development center in China, Mercedes-Benz head for research and development indicated that the luxury vehicle manufacturer is set on introducing twelve new Mercedes-Benz vehicle models by 2020, according to a gtspirit.com report. Although Thomas Weber did not provide the details of these upcoming models, he indicated that they will not have any direct predecessors. This indicates that these are completely new vehicle models. The Mercedes-Benz ML63 AMG is one impressive luxury SUV. Its front and rear fascia provide its aggressive look while the side skirts create a sporty appearance for the vehicle as it extends along the length of the entire vehicle. Mercedes-Benz recently debuted a new vehicle for the U.S. market at the SEMA Show 2014. The three-pointed star introduced the Mercedes Metris in the American soil during the event. The Mercedes Metris is the Americanized version of the Mercedes Vito, a commercial van that sits as a sub-variant of the Sprinter. According to Car and Driver, the vehicle will be sold in the U.S. by 2015. Based from the information the tuner provided, the van was fitted with some styling enhancements as well as an engine upgrade. The Power Improvement The model that Hartmann chose for its new work was the Mercedes Vito 119 CDi Tourer. Coinciding with the opening of the Mercedes-Benz R&D center in Beijing, China, the three-pointed star brand also released its new subcompact crossover concept dubbed as the Mercedes Vision G-Code. According to the press release of the company, the concept crossover aims to attract younger Asians into the brand. Shorter than the Mercedes GLA Based from the images and information provided by the German automaker, the G-Code will be designed as a Sports Utility Coupe.
