One dealer recently showed one good idea about what to avoid when customizing a Mercedes CLS 550 AMG. It’s this particular type of body kit that you should do away with. New Mercedes Recall Affects 149,000 Cars in China and Germany

A new Mercedes recall was set in motion once more. Last Monday, Daimler released a statement about a new recall involving its Mercedes-Benz cars. According to the company, around 149,000 vehicles under the three-pointed star brand will be affected. Among the models covered by the decision were the E-Class and CLS-CLass built within 2012 up to 2014. Then, the areas affected are China and Germany. Source of the Problem Daimler cited safety concerns as the cause of the Mercedes recall.   The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration finally put a closure to an investigation it started in 2012 concerning some Mercedes-Benz E-Class cars. The three-year investigation, which ended last Tuesday, centered on the alleged fuel leaks affecting 281,000 units of the said range. It should be recalled that the NHTSA started the investigation in January 2012 after it received around 20 complaints from owners of 2003 to 2006 Mercedes E55 AMG. Then, it later included in the probe the 2003 to 2008 E-Class models. The complainants claimed that there was a strong odor emanating from both inside and outside of their vehicles. Live at the Essen Motor Show, the famous tuner Lorinser revealed its work involving the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLS, particularly the CLS350 model of the range. Despite the latest stock version of the car already displaying a fabulous facelift from Mercedes, Lorinser believed it could still benefit from a few tweaking.
