Mercedes-Benz Vans has sent four teams to the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles 2016 in Morocco, the world’s only off-road event exclusive to women. A total of 160 teams have entered for this year’s rally, which will last 10 days in Southern Morocco’s deserts. 10,000th Sprinter Classic rolls of Mercedes-Benz Vans plant in Russia

Daimler achieves record sales in Q1 2015

Daimler AG continues to roll, having achieved record sales, revenue, and EBIT during the first quarter of 2015, propelled of course by Mercedes-Benz Cars. This is thanks in large part to unit sales growing by 13 percent compared to the same period in 2014, contributing to a 16 percent growth in revenue to some €34 billion (around $37 billion). UPS to upgrade to Mercedes-Benz Sprinter delivery vans

UPS will soon be adding the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter to its fleet of delivery vans, an upgrade from the recently discontinued Mercedes-Benz Vario line of heavy commercial vans. To be more specific, UPS has ordered the new Sprinter 513 BlueTec model to replace the Vario. The 127 horsepower van is the result of development that was made together between Mercedes-Benz, UPS, and Spier the body manufacturer. This way, the parcel service gets a delivery van that can specifically fill its needs.
