In February, Mercedes-Benz was dragged into a class action suit filed in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. In the suit filed by Texas law firm Hagens Berman, it was alleged that the three-pointed star brand used a cheat device to manipulate the emission figures of its BlueTec diesel models. The emission issue pointed out by the lawsuit was similar to the controversy that Volkswagen got itself into last year, which led to the resignation of its former CEO Martin Winterkorn. An epic journey was completed by the Mercedes-Benz E300 BlueTEC Hybrid as it travelled from the African continent all the way to the United Kingdom with a single tank of fuel, a report from worldcarfans.com revealed recently. Behind the wheel of the standard model of the E300 was Andrew Frankel. The luxury hybrid vehicle averaged 3.1 liters for every 73.6 miles or 100 kilometers during its non-stop journey. Last month, we have shown the facelifted Mercedes-Benz B-Class spy shots. Recently, new images of the vehicle surfaced again, which showed its bare rear exterior as it was being loaded to a container behind a truck.
