A Mercedes-Benz GLC prototype fleet has been spotted recently and recorded on video. The clip was uploaded by walkoART in YouTube showing the SUV almost bare, with only the camouflage covering some portions of the bumpers. This provides us a good look at the interior of the auto too. The subject above may be one of the units also spied by the same uploader in the past. But this time, the black strips covering the entire length of the SUV’s sides are now gone. More Mercedes-Benz GLC spy shots are now surfacing as the world premiere of the SUV on June 17 nears. Previously, we featured a couple of spy shots of the auto with very thin camouflage, giving us already an idea of the design we have to expect from it. Recently, the vehicle was caught on video and was uploaded by YouTube user walkoART. It showed the Mercedes-Benz GLC with a very little camo covering only the lines on its sides, bumpers, and lights as it was being driven in actual traffic. More spy photos of the Mercedes-Benz GLC continue to show up as the upcoming SUV nears its world premiere. These photos show a camouflaged version of the vehicle as it is being tested in a closed driving facility. The spy shots show a partially camouflaged Mercedes-Benz GLC with the black wrap covering its exterior side panels, headlights, taillights and bumpers. The covered portions indicate that we should expect major updates in those areas. Seeing the Mercedes-Benz GLC almost bare in a spy photo with only a little camo hanging on its lights and bumpers is an indication that its official launch is coming up. Earlier, we thought it would come out sometime in the fourth quarter, but a new announcement by the automaker says it might be sooner than that period. According to Mercedes-Benz Passion, the world premiere of the Mercedes-Benz GLC will be on June 17 this year. Then, the SUV will hit dealerships on September 12, 2015. It has only been less than a month since Mercedes-Benz revealed its GLC Coupe Concept through a sketch, official photos, and a live model at the Shanghai Motor Show. Just a few days ago, IndianAutosBlog featured spy photos of the prototype standard SUV of the same range with only a little camouflage. According to the source, the Mercedes-Benz GLC spy shots came from one of its readers. It also mentioned that the pictures were taken along the Stuttgart headquarters of Mercedes. The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe Concept was the primary attraction at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show. The compact SUV concept was unveiled alongside the long wheelbase version of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class 4MATIC, which will be offered exclusively in China.
