A Formula One World Champion has been crowned after the 2015 United States Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton once again took the coveted F1 world title in a back-to-back win since the 2014 season, and his third F1 championship in his whole career. While his teammate Nico Rosberg was gracious even at his defeat last year, this time, he appeared none too pleased. A trending video recently showed the two in their lounge. Niki Lauda is Confident that Hamilton will Stay with Mercedes

The three-year contract of Lewis Hamilton with Formula One Team Mercedes-AMG Petronas will be up by the end of the year. Various speculations about the status of the negotiations were raised by several news sources. However, Niki Lauda expressed his confidence that the 2008 and 2014 F1 World Champion will stay with his current team. In Lauda’s interview with PaddockTalk, he said, “I am not worried,” referring to the contract talks between Mercedes and Hamilton. Recently, Mercedes-Benz TV released a new commercial for its Mercedes SL63 AMG World Championship Edition. The ad featured the 2008 and 2014 Formula One World Champion Lewis Hamilton, and the runner-up this year, Nico Rosberg. The video was titled “Stalemate”, which indicated the equal performance of the latest limited-edition SL63 AMG despite their contrasting looks. The Mercedes SL63 AMG World Championship Edition was made by Mercedes-AMG to commemorate the impressive performance of the German automaker’s team in F1 this year. Two versions of the World Championship Edition cars would be offered to buyers, but the models would only limited though by 19 units for each version. One version of the car was designed by Hamilton. Niki Lauda is known to say what is on his mind, and he is not someone who lightly tolerates nonsense. Recently, he slammed Dr. Helmut Marko, the motorsport advisor of Red Bull for instigating speculations that Sebastian Vettel is being courted by Mercedes AMG Petronas to jump ship in 2016. It should be recalled that the Red Bull advisor revealed in an interview with Sport Bild last month that Mercedes and McLaren have been proposing for Vettel to move to their respective teams.
