Formula 1 Twitter went abuzz during the Australian Grand Prix weekend as the rain brought back the meme that has become iconic in the racing circles, and that’s Darth Toto. The nickname, inspired by the Sith Lords in the Star Wars series, is attributed to Mercedes motorsport boss Toto Wolff’s hooded look, which has become a staple in the sport. The meme first surfaced a couple of years ago showing Wolff in various blacked-out outfits ranging from a black turtle neck to a black raincoat complete with a face mask. Audi South Africa and Mercedes-Benz SA recently engaged in a Twitter troll war over the image here. Now, what’s wrong with this seemingly innocent picture? It shows a fleet of Mercedes vehicles and an Audi Q7 mounted with a camera equipment. It appears that the Audi is filming the autos of the three-pointed star brand. Justin Bieber’s Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon involved in crash, but other SUV worse off

Canadian pop star Justin Bieber was involved in a minor car crash this past weekend on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, when his Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon was rear-ended by a Range Rover. Both drivers were able to get out of their respective vehicles to inspect the damage. No one seemed to have suffered any serious injury. According to some reports, one of the cars had an OnStar system that was able to alert law enforcement right away. The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon had a damaged rear-mounted spare tire case. Mercedes-Benz tweeted something that got everyone too excited just a while ago. That’s because its social media post contained two teaser images of the upcoming Mercedes-Maybach S600. So far, only the lettering in the rear indicating the model name, and the elegant cabin design of the car were revealed by the Twitter post of the German automaker. Around 19 hours ago, Mercedes AMG Petronas tweeted the million-dollar question that has been generating a lot of buzz on the Internet and the F1 community. In the official Twitter account of the team, it asked the opinion of fans whether they should allow their drivers to freely race or is it time to finally implement team orders. The assessment of the top car brands in the world was facilitated by eBench. The period covered was from January 1, 2014 to June 30, 2014. The automakers that were included in the study, aside from Mercedes-Benz, were Audi, BMW, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Lexus and Land Rover.
