Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Gets a V12 Transplant

For Mercedes-Benz, only a few of its vehicles deserved the almighty V12. It was only reserved for the flagship, special series, iconic G-Class, and ultra-luxurious Maybach units of the German automaker. The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG never got the coveted engine because it only belonged in the mid-range bracket of the company’s hierarchy. However, thanks to Brabus, 10 people had the privilege of owning a W212 E-Class with a V12 transplant. Brabus calls its masterpiece the “E V12”, and it even surpasses the output of a standard AMG V12 auto. The German tuner swapped the original V8 power unit of the car with a 6.3-liter V12 engine. The result is a… Continue Reading »

The Ultimate HG Mercedes G-Class is Something that Maybach Should Have Done Before

The Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet is a very rare gem in the luxury sport utility vehicle lineup of the three-pointed star marque because only 99 units of it were ever produced. However, I could not agree more with the fact that if Maybach, the ultra-luxury arm of Mercedes, were to make a G-Wagen that is true to its DNA, it should look more like the Ultimate HG from Hofele Design. The Ultimate HG is based on the Mercedes G-Class platform. The modifications turn the G350d, G500, and AMG 63 trims of the luxury SUV into an alternative luxury limousine with shades of the Rolls-Royce Phantom and Range Rover SUVs. The most… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 SUV Gets 920 HP Upgrade

The Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 sport utility vehicle is blessed with opulent features, advanced technology, and high-performance engine. When it comes to luxury, it is only a step below its Mercedes-Maybach counterpart, but it more than makes up for it in terms of power. In its stock configuration, the AMG GLS 63 SUV is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. The unit produces a whopping 603 hp and 626 lb-ft torque. Despite its already impressive figures, the aftermarket tuning firm Wheelsandmore managed to squeeze out more power from the vehicle. Recently, the company released a four-stage tuning package for the auto with the following features: Stage 1 The AMG GLS 63… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro Tuned to 669 HP by RENNtech

The Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro sits just below the Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series but there seems to be a lot of performance gap to fill between the two. The new tuning package of RENNtech bridges their outputs by bringing the AMG GT Pro’s power to 669 HP, and it adds a couple of aerodynamics and handling upgrades to further up its game. In its stock configuration, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine of the AMG GT R Pro produces 577 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. All that power is directed to a rear-wheel-drive system and managed via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The new RENNtech package for the AMG GT R… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-AMG G63 Gets Black Ops and Shadow Packages From Brabus

Brabus unveiled new packages for the Mercedes-AMG G63 called the Black Ops 800 and Shadow 800. These builds for the G-Class are only limited to 10 examples each. From the names of the packages alone, we know that Brabus is into something here. And certainly, the famous German tuner delivered its promise when the sinister-looking Black Ops 800 and Shadow 800 packages for the G-Class came out. Performance As the names imply, the AMG G63 Black Ops 800 and Shadow 800 carry an output of nearly 800 hp. To be exact, Brabus squeezed out 789 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque from the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine of the boxy… Continue Reading »

Mercedes-AMG GTR Gets a Murdered-Out Look and Performance Boost

A couple of days ago, the Mercedes-AMG GTR received a mean upgrade from one tuner. This includes mild cosmetic changes and boosts in performance. O.CT Tuning was responsible for this particular upgrade to the AMG GTR. They gave the high-performance car a blacked out look, turning every metal component of the car darker, including the front grille, mirror caps, side sills, spoiler, diffuser, and wheels. All the chrome parts, even the ones highlighting the badges and vents, now came in black. The glass in the windshield, sides, and rear also got a darker tint. The changes in the vehicle’s exterior may be subtle but the tuner did a great job… Continue Reading »

RevoZport is finally ready to show off its newest body kit for the Mercedes-Benz A-Class called the RZA-290 body kit. The package was intensively developed and designed for six months and will turn the German executive car into an even sleeker and cooler sedan with a moderate performance upgrade. The 3D images shown by RevoZport to have the RZA-290 body kit featured a Mercedes-Benz A250 hatchback that’s equipped with the AMG Line Package. The package itself adds AMG-enhanced design details for a more athletic feel. It includes a polished chrome cross-strut, a deep front air dam, flared side sills and rear valence, a color-keyed diffuser insert, and 18- or 19-inch… Continue Reading »
