There can be nothing more flattering for a vehicle than be compared to a supercar like the Bugatti Veyron, and this is exactly what is being given to the Mercedes E-Class by tuning company Posaidon. While Mercedes is planning an all-wheel drive E63 AMG, a particular tuning company by the name of Posaidon has just started revolutionizing the Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Using the traction offered by the outgoing AWD E63, Merc was able to produce the same performance figures on this supercar. The Mercedes-Benz E-Class is considered among the favorite luxury vehicles in the midsize luxury segment. It provides owners an interesting combination of performance, safety and comfort. MED Design recently gave the E-Class a wide-body kit for the Convertible and Coupe models, as indicated on a recent gtspirit.com report. A teaser video for the wide-body kit was initially released near the end of last year by the aftermarket tuning specialist. The wide-body kit gives the E-Class a distinctive new bumper that features a lower splitter section and redesigned ai intakes. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG has been revisited by the engineers from McChip who updated their “MC700” program. We remind you the naturally-aspirated V8 6.2-liter engine of the stock model is good enough for a more than impressive 571 HP (420 kW) and a peak torque of 479 lb-ft (650 Nm). The upgrade program developed by the German tuner includes a remapped ECU, a mechanically-driven compressor and a custom Capristo exhaust system.
