The three-pointed star marque celebrated the production anniversary of the legendary Mercedes-Benz G-Class in Graz, Austria, by rolling out the 500,000th model of the iconic off-roader. The G-Class has been in production since 1979 and has had a loyal fan base due to its unique design and excellent off-road capabilities. The 500,000th-anniversary vehicle is a one-off inspired by the 280 GE from 1986, incorporating iconic design elements of the SUV’s early model such as the exterior color and the seat pattern. A Mercedes-Benz distributor in Oman, Zarawi Trading Company has come up with a special edition of Mercedes’ evergreen G-Class model, specifically the G55. Calling it the G55 Arabia, this limited edition G-Class will have a limited 100-unit run, and will be available in matte white or black. To set the G55 Arabia apart, chrome bullbars, carbon fiber trim and 19-inch AMG wheels have been added.
