Mercedes-Benz Celebrates 22 Millionth Vehicle Produced

The 22 millionth Mercedes-Benz vehicle was just rolled out from the three-pointed star marque’s assembly plant. The car coinciding with the milestone is an EQS 580 4MATIC in MANUFAKTUR hyacinth red metallic finish produced from the Sindelfingen plant of the German luxury car maker. According to a press release from Mercedes-Benz Group Media, the brand’s Sindelfingen plant opened in 2015. It was initially utilized as an aircraft factory until Daimler-Motor-Gesellschaft (DMG) officially produced its first car there. Facelifted Mercedes-AMG GT Production Starts in Sindelfingen

After the dramatic launching of the facelifted Mercedes-AMG GT, Mercedes-Benz finally greenlights its production at the company’s Sindelfingen plant in Germany. The new AMG GT is now produced alongside the Mercedes-Benz S-Class , E-Class, CLS, GLA and Mercedes-Maybach cars. Vehicles under the Mercedes-Benz EQ range will also be assembled there. Daimler said that 250 vehicles are being delivered everyday to the Mercedes-Benz Customer Center in Sindelfingen. The plant employs over 25,000 people. Mercedes-Benz just announced that the production of the vehicle has already commenced on its Sindelfingen plant in Germany. New Mercedes-Benz S-Class Production Begins

Yesterday, July 3, the production of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class officially started. The car is being assembled in the Sindelfingen plant of the three-pointed star marque. Marking the start of the event was the pilot test for the automated driving feature of the range. An obsidian black metallic-painted Mercedes-Benz S560 4MATIC showcased the feature. The car drove automatically without a driver seating in its cockpit. New photos reveal that the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class is nearing completion. Left Lane recently shared some pictures taken from the assembly plant of the three-pointed star brand, which is located in Sindelfingen, Germany.
