Facelifted Mercedes-AMG GT Production Starts in Sindelfingen
After the dramatic launching of the facelifted Mercedes-AMG GT, Mercedes-Benz finally greenlights its production at the company’s Sindelfingen plant in Germany. The new AMG GT is now produced alongside the Mercedes-Benz S-Class , E-Class, CLS, GLA and Mercedes-Maybach cars. Vehicles under the Mercedes-Benz EQ range will also be assembled there. Daimler said that 250 vehicles are being delivered everyday to the Mercedes-Benz Customer Center in Sindelfingen. The plant employs over 25,000 people. The facelifted AMG GT features the Panamericana grille on its fascia, which is a tribute to the old race cars of Mercedes in the post-war era, particularly the 300SL in the 50’s.
